One day I was over at my friend's house
One day I was over at my friend's house. He has a basketball hoop in his backyard, and he was playing basketball. I was sitting on an old couch they have outside. I didn't know it was full of bees. I started to shake the couch, and the bees went wild. I got stung.
Right away I prayed. I knew that I couldn't be hurt, because God didn't make any dangerous creatures. His creation is all good, so bad things couldn't really happen. The stings hurt and my hand was swollen, but I kept knowing the truth.
I went home and my mother called a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. I talked to the practitioner, and the next morning the swollen hand was getting better. I decided to do some more praying for myself. I thought of all the good things that God had done for me. Very soon my hand was as good as new.
