When I was four years old, my mother took up the study of Christian Science because she was in need of physical healing. She was healed through reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.

Since that time I have had numerous proofs of the healing efficacy of Christian Science, based on the words and works of Christ Jesus. Through the years all my needs have been met. I have seen the healing of shingles, broken bones, and chronic sick headaches, to name a few.

There were testing times while our children were growing up when my husband, through his fear for the children, wanted them to receive medical attention. (My husband was not a Christian Scientist.) In each case of illness the examining physician could not find anything wrong, for the child had been quickly healed through Christian Science treatment.
