I have had many, many healings through Christian Science. I told of one—a healing of hernia—in a testimony printed in the Sentinel of June 5, 1965.

I recall another healing that occurred when our daughter was about two. She became ill on the day her father, who was not a Christian Scientist at that time, was to return from a business trip. I requested help from a Christian Science practitioner.

When I told her father about the illness he did not become upset, but of course he did want the child to be well as soon as possible. I turned to God for help with my whole heart. Then, as if waking from a bad dream, I could feel fear drain away, and warm love for all concerned filled my heart. As the Bible says (Ex. 14:13), "Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day." The baby quickly regained her healthy, happy appearance.
