Spiritual healing: proof of divine Principle

Is there a God who can heal? Who does heal? Whatever form this question takes, it's like asking if there really is a God. Practically speaking, what difference does it make whether or not there is a God—if this God gives no evidence of His reality and power in people's everyday lives?

The good news is that there is a God who heals, a God who has established spiritual laws that we can depend on for healing with scientific surety. This was Mrs. Eddy's great discovery, a discovery that she designated Christian Science and that generations of people have relied on for over a century to meet every kind of human need.

Actually, one might say that what Mrs. Eddy did was rediscover for mankind the actuality of God—the living God of Moses, Isaac, Jacob, the prophets, and, above all, Christ Jesus. Although the reality and power of this living God had been largely obscured by human theories and materialism, in the fullness of time "the Spirit of truth" did appear as Jesus prophesied. And, it came as he said it would, teaching "all things," that is, explaining the spiritually scientific basis of his words and works, the very Science of God.
