God's will: "in earth, as it is in heaven"
No matter where we are or what we're doing, we can prove that safety is God's will and that His kingdom is come.
While waiting to board a flight long delayed by unfavorable weather (including torrential rains), I turned to the prayer that Christ Jesus taught his disciples—the Lord's Prayer. I was thinking especially of the second and third sentences and the way they are spiritually interpreted in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy:
"Thy kingdom come.
Thy kingdom is come; Thou art ever-present.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Enable us to know,—as in heaven, so on earth,—
God is omnipotent, supreme." Science and Health, pp. 16–17.
