I went to basketball camp
I went to basketball camp. I found out soon enough that the kids there were extremely rough. When kids started asking me about my new high-top basketball shoes, I feared for the safety of my clothes. One morning when I woke up and went to put on one of my favorite shirts that I had won earlier in the summer, it was gone! I told the head counselor and gave him a description of the shirt.
Usually there was never a quiet place in the dorms, but at that moment there was. Fortunately I had brought my copies of the Bible and of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy along with me. I went into the dorm and sat down. At the moment I didn't know exactly where to look in either book for help on such a situation, so I decided to go to my favorite chapter in Science and Health— "Glossary."
I started to read the definition of angels. It begins (p. 581): "God's thoughts passing to man." I had read that far when one of the "thoughts passing to man" came to me. I went to the chapter titled "Recapitulation" and to the answer to the question "What is Mind?" (p. 469). Before I had read any further an answer came to me: "Mind is not corrupt, and therefore Mind is not jealous." By that time I realized I had to go to a class.
