"... Around the globe people are turning to the Bible for a printed assurance that peace is attainable in a world that sits on the dark edge of anxiety and uncertainty.

"Even people in official positions are realizing the importance of the Bible's call to live peaceably. In Brazil, according to Christianity Today, the government is assisting in the distribution of 25 million New Testaments .... Arnold de Oliveira, a member of Brazil's House of Deputies, states [for example], 'We are beginning the building of a stable society and we believe the Bible plays a central role in this.' ...
