I was coming out of school a little late one day
I was coming out of school a little late one day. I went to the back of the playground where the bikes are kept but found my bike was not there! I quickly went home and told my mom about it. We knew that God's man is good and true because he is God's image. We decided to call a Christian Science practitioner and ask her to pray for us. She shared these words from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 453): "Honesty is spiritual power. Dishonesty is human weakness, which forfeits divine help."
Three more days passed and the bike was not returned. Then on the fourth day when I went home I got a call from my music teacher at school. She said that she thought my bike had been turned in. When Mom and I went to see if it had, I felt very happy. We got to school and I looked in the office. There was my bike! I was so glad that I whispered softly, "Thank you, God!"
