Looking to God for creativity in business

Do you need a new plan for your business, a new product or service? Where to start? We know that to begin any project and to bring it to successful conclusion, we must be inspired. From our inspiration springs the human plan. But we don't have to be "in the mood" to be inspired. We do not have to wait for a "bolt out of the blue." The inspiration can come in an infinite number of ways for those who turn to God. Let me share how from my own experience.

As a former advertising agency executive, I found myself in charge of developing new products for a large division of one of America's largest food companies. The division's sales, and especially its profits, were in a severe downtrend. The chairman of the board had said that the division would be sold if the company could find anyone willing to buy it. My job was to see if new products could be developed and to prepare a long- and short-range plan.

At first, fear of lack of ability or lack of time assailed me, but I knew my Father-Mother God could not lead me into the temptation of accepting any such limiting beliefs. The fear was discarded with the confidence that God was All-in-all and that in this allness there was no room or place for fear of any kind.
