In 1923 I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in mechanical engineering. I then entered a family-owned medical publishing business of which, many years later, I became the president (a position I held until my retirement in 1972).
Given my background, it might seem unlikely that I would become a Christian Scientist, but six years ago that is exactly what happened.
