For many years I have been encouraged and inspired by the testimonies of healing shared by others. I sincerely thank all those who have had testimonies published in the Christian Science periodicals. Now it is a joy to submit my own testimony of the healing efficacy of the Christ Science.

I am grateful that my parents had the vision and humility to accept this Science when it was presented to them. Because they did, from my early childhood our home was blessed with this way of life in solving all our problems.

When I was a child, the school nurse told me that I had large tonsils and should have them removed, for they would cause trouble. Nevertheless I had a near perfect record of attendance; at one period I went three years without a single absence from school. Occasionally I had a sore throat, but this was always healed through prayer in Christian Science.
