It is with much pleasure that I relate some of the blessings that I have experienced in Christian Science.

I attended a Christian Science Sunday School regularly from age nine until I was twenty, about a year and a half ago. I am most grateful for the provision for Sunday Schools as given by Mrs. Eddy in the Manual of The Mother Church (see Art. XX) and for the weekly Bible Lessons outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly. While I was in high school these teachings fortified me. By practicing what I was learning in Sunday School, I was successful in my studies.

After high school it was necessary that I seek employment. Despite the fact that there was much talk about unemployment and few available jobs for someone with not much work experience, I knew that we each possess God-directed purpose, which involves such Christlike qualities as intelligence, honesty, diligence, and love. Therefore, I knew that there was a right position for me. In the Bible we read (Ex. 23:20): "Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared." I trusted in this promise.
