"Glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's" (I Cor. 6:20).
At one time I fell from the roof of our two-and-a-half-story house. No one else was home at the time, and afterward I lay on the cold stone terrace in the rain for several hours. During that period, though I tried, I found it difficult to pray to God.
Eventually, two policemen found me and, without my knowledge, made arrangements for me to be taken to a nearby hospital. But this served an unexpected good purpose. When I was brought into the emergency ward, the physician in charge recognized me. He knew I had served as a Reader in our local branch Church of Christ, Scientist. He expressed his respect for my reliance on Christian Science and assured me that no medical treatment would be given.
