FOR CHILDREN
Juliette and Jericho
[Original in French]
Our neighbor was going away for about ten days and brought us her two canaries to take care of. She recommended that we put their cage on the balcony during the day, the way she did herself.
While Maman was finishing up the dishes, she heard a noise coming from the balcony. She went out and saw that the cage had tipped over in a strong gust of wind.
She called me to show me that even though the cage was still there, the bottom had disappeared and the birds along with it!
