Reruns
Do you ever find yourself reliving again and again regrettable past events or misdeeds? It's somewhat like watching a rerun of an old movie. The counterfeit mind that Christian Science terms "mortal mind" is forever trying to subject us to reruns of what it calls our past experiences, moving distressing incidents across the stage of our thought over and over again.
Is there a way this disturbing activity can be stopped? Yes, there is. Each of us has the God-given power to ring down the curtain on mortal mind's painful repeats by recognizing that the events depicted never really happened in the first place.
To understand this we must begin with God—with the truth of His infinite goodness and all-power. Where in the allness of good could matter with its sin, disease, and inharmony ever have had a foothold? The answer must be, nowhere!
