Take comfort through turning to God
There's a way to find comfort for a bruised and battered human sense of things. Are we feeling unappreciated, a lonely traveler on a long journey? Has sudden loss or shock confronted us? Do we face daily anxiety or despair?
A little child will turn to his mother in time of threat and curl up in her arms. We are all children of our heavenly Father-Mother God. His love is always present for us to turn to.
Comfort is quickly available to us when we turn from the mortal picture and think only about God and what He is doing. A hymn in the Christian Science Hymnal says:
