"My record is on high"
What's a parent to do when called in for a conference at school and told that little Johnny isn't keeping pace with the other children in his class, or that little Susie's testing indicates a learning disability, or that Bobby's hyperactivity is disrupting the whole classroom?
Must we submit to limited ability, performance, and behavior, as if they were law? No!
Christian Science teaches us to be grateful that such difficulties can be rejected and healed. We accept any opportunity to prove man's God-bestowed dominion over whatever would oppose God's goodness. We have divine authority to deny records of material limitation as unjust sentences without jurisdiction. Then, without wasting any time, we can turn immediately to what the All-knowing knows of His children. "Behold, my witness is in heaven, and my record [Revised Standard Version, "he that vouches for me"] is on high," Job 16:19; Job said.
