We have had many beautiful healings in our family as a result of the study of Christian Science. Sore throat, earache, impetigo, and grief have all been healed, either with the help of a Christian Science practitioner or through our own understanding prayers.

I would like to share a particular healing, which has been a great inspiration to me. I was brought up in Christian Science, but for a period of about ten years I had just drifted along. I was married and had two small children. While we were a happy family, very little thought was given to God. When my daughter was about three years old, she asked if she could go to Sunday School, since all her friends were going. It seemed right and natural to send her to Sunday School in a Church of Christ, Scientist. I began attending the services and again studied the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly. We discontinued taking the children to a doctor and began relying on Christian Science for healing.

During that summer, about five years ago, I noticed a lump in my breast. It was a time when the news media were broadcasting frightening consequences resulting from conditions such as this seemed to be, and I was filled with fear.
