I wish to express my sincere gratitude for all the good that has come into my life since I commenced the study of Christian Science sixteen years ago.

I had suffered for over three years from slipped disks, and was unable to carry out my household duties. After undergoing treatment of various kinds, including the wearing of a plaster cast and a surgical corset, I was told by the orthopedic surgeon that he could do no more for me. Still seeking healing, I then had treatment from an osteopath for about six months, and it was during this time that Christian Science was presented to me. I was given some literature to read, and afterward I borrowed a copy of the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

I began to attend services in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and decided to give up all medical treatment and rely entirely upon Christian Science. I was led to ask for treatment from a Christian Science practitioner. I continued to attend church and study the Bible and the textbook diligently, and one evening, during a testimony meeting, I knew that I had been healed, although I had not realized it until that moment. I am grateful to say the healing has been permanent.
