What Can We Do for Our Children?

If one of our children has left home, broken all ties with the family, and decided to live a life-style contrary to our ideals, can we do anything? If communication has ceased and the allowance has been cut off, can we again establish a harmonious relationship?

When our children seem to be lost sheep, the challenge is to know and understand God, Love, better, no matter what our children may say, how they may dress, or where they may live. Whatever picture of our children we see, we need to accept only a concept of perfect Love guiding and caring for all its creation.

The study of Christian Science can show us how to do this. Think of the changeless nature of the Shepherd!" Historical Sketches by Clifford P. Smith, p. 143;
