A statement by Mrs. Eddy inscribed on the wall of a Church of Christ, Scientist, which I attended, led to a beautiful healing: "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." These words are from page 494 of Science and Health.
One of our young sons had developed a very painful wart on the bottom of his foot. In thinking about the condition and how to heal it through Christian Science treatment, I realized that the feeling between the family and the child had not been completely harmonious, and that we were not correcting the situation lovingly as we are taught to do in Christian Science. I realized that we must express more love and patience toward him.
