So that others may be helped...
So that others may be helped from my experience, it is my sincere desire to record the healings and proofs of God's care that have come to me. I first took up Christian Science because of a nervous condition and much fear. Since I had lost faith in the help of doctors, my thought was receptive when this religion was presented to me by a dear relative.
I had been studying the Bible, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and other Christian Science literature for a few months when one day I became ill with influenza. In the evening I called a practitioner for help; I then went to bed and fell asleep. Around midnight I awoke feeling well. There was not a sign of the illness.
I was so happy about this healing that I awakened my husband to tell him the good news. We both saw that the Science Mrs. Eddy explains to us in Science and Health must be the truth that Christ Jesus came to show us.
