I should like to relate my early...
I should like to relate my early experience in Christian Science. John tells us in Revelation (10: 9): "And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up." I had been studying Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and I was indeed eating Christian Science up. It just seemed that I could not read enough of this great truth.
I had had several healings, which had convinced me that Science is indeed the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus. However, I still did not have sufficient understanding to know how to apply the rules behind the healings.
At this time I did not realize what Christian Science practitioners were or how to study properly the Lesson-Sermons, provided in the Quarterly. I would study only one section of the lesson each day.
