OUT OF BONDAGE

Affliction's fire is not
What the senses tell us of;
Their engulfing need not frighten.
God is good, and God is Love.
This our pathways will enlighten.

Only that which holds in bondage
Needs to tremble and to fall.
Meets God's present retribution.
God is Love, and God is All.
Let all trust His restitution.

His redemptive plan surpasses
All that human thought presumed.
"... the bush burned with fire,
and the bush was not consumed."
Freedom comes through pure desire.
