Christian Science has been the greatest blessing that has ever come into my life. I have had many healings, but I am especially grateful for the purification and regeneration of character and the awakening to true being.

Twenty-five years ago I was healed of nervous indigestion, which had bothered me from childhood. This condition was quickly overcome by the prayerful work of a Christian Science practitioner.

One summer I had a serious fall off some steps onto the concrete below. The right shoulder was dislocated, and there was every appearance of a broken collarbone. One of the neighbors who saw me fall wanted to call a doctor. I arose to my feet, thanked her for wanting to help me, and assured her I would be all right.

Upon entering the house, I immediately called a practitioner for help. I was told by the practitioner that man can never fall from his high, his spiritual, estate. As I realized this, I was thereafter able to dress and undress myself and to do all my household duties as they came up. There was no human hand to help me. I told no one of the accident, not even my own family. Since it was not true of God's man, I reasoned, why mention it?

The neighbor who saw me fall came in the next day; and seeing me doing my own work, she did not even mention the incident.

The following day I attended a lecture in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. I was also able to resume the driving of an older model automobile, which required a vigorous use of the right arm. The healing was complete, I was grateful, because I recalled that before I became interested in the study of Christian Science, I had been involved in an automobile accident, and the collarbone had been broken. This incident was very much the same as the other one, except that the healing at that time had been slow; while now, through reliance on Truth, I had been quickly healed.

I am grateful for all the avenues through which Christian Science comes to us, including the lectures, the radio and television programs, and the church services.
