NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

Speaking of the resurrection, Paul made what must have been to many a very puzzling statement when he said.

PEACE AND JOY INTACT

At the beginning of the year a student of Christian Science was writing letters to her friends.
Nowhere in the recorded sayings of the Master, Christ Jesus, is there a more important or significant statement than one that is given in the fourteenth chapter of John's Gospel.

"A FRESH UNIVERSE"

How often it has been said with longing: "Oh, if we could but start all over again! If only the world could be made anew so that everything would function properly!" Humanity's ardent wish for a fresh start, though it appears altogether vain to mortal sense, is nevertheless capable of realization.

DISTRIBUTION

As Spirit's witnesses we keepThe Lord's command to feed his sheep,Distributing God's boundless wealthThrough our reflection of true health,Expressing Love and Truth each dayTo weary ones who pass our way,Imparting hope and joy and peace,Which bring to heavy hearts release; In selfless living we fulfillThe doing of our Father's will.

BENEDICTIONS

The Manual of The Mother Church was unfolded to Mary Baker Eddy by divine wisdom.

LOVE KNOWS NO OFFENSE

In her book "Miscellaneous Writings" Mary Baker Eddy has included a brief article entitled "Taking Offense," which could well be considered a very important study for all mankind.
Co-operation is a lovely quality which many young people learn to practice through sports and games.
No vaulted nave, no towering spire,We dedicate with faith today.

THE TRUE INHERITANCE

As one awakens, through an understanding of Christian Science, to the reality of man's true and forever being as the reflection of his Father-Mother God, he also sees why it is imperative to deny the belief that he was ever born in matter or as the child of mortal parentage.

TRANSPARENCY

"That individual is the best healer who asserts himself the least, and thus becomes a transparency for the divine Mind, who is the only physician; the divine Mind is the scientific healer.

THE GARMENT'S HEM

I touched the garment's hem today, and prayed that God's own hand would lead me                                                               to the highest height.
My experience has been blessed immeasurably by the study and application of the teachings of Christian Science.
With gratitude for the testimonies given in our periodicals and at our testimony meetings in Churches of Christ, Scientist, from which I have derived inspiration and help, I wish to relate some of my own experiences.
A profound sense of gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me and for the world prompts me to submit this testimony.
When I was six years old I attended a Christian Science Sunday School for the first time.
It is with great joy that I express gratitude for Christian Science.

Several years ago, when visiting on the east coast, I suffered a nervous breakdown.
It is with increasing gratitude to God that I submit this testimony.

Throughout the Bible we are constantly...

Throughout the Bible we are constantly assured of God's guidance and protection.
