A Christian Science period in the Columbia "Church of the Air" series was conducted from Station WABC, New York City, on Sunday afternoon, November 8, 1942, at one o'clock.
We should hold in our consciousness the true concept of the children with whom we have to deal.
It is a great blessing to me to have had the teachings of Christian Science, and it is such a joy to see all the members of one's family lovingly and earnestly uniting in one purpose, that of demonstrating the truth.
The fine testimonies in the pamphlet "Proofs of God's Protection" remind me that, although I have not been in combat, I have many reasons to be grateful for a knowledge of Christian Science during more than a year in the service.
I greatly desire to express my deep gratitude for Christian Science through this periodical and to share with others a few of the many healings I have experienced through the application of this demonstrable religion.
It is with exceeding gratitude to God, to Mrs.
"Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" Many times, through the study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, have the Lord's goodness and "his wonderful works to the children of men" been demonstrated in my experience.
It is with a grateful heart that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science.
I should like to give a testimony for the benefit of those who are new to Christian Science and for those who, although interested in Science, may believe that a deep and profound knowledge of it is necessary in order to experience a healing.
I should like to glorify God for His healing and protecting power, as revealed in Christian Science, hoping my testimony will help someone as I have been helped.
