Testimonies given at St. Joseph, Mo.

Second Church of Christ, Scientist, of St. Joseph, Mo., has been organized less than two years. It has an enrollment of seventy-six members and maintains a reading room in the heart of the city, where all Christian Science publications are kept on sale and many Sentinels, Journals, and much other Christian Science literature is distributed free. All the services of the church and Sunday School are well attended and a constantly increasing interest is manifested. Many exceedingly interesting testimonies are given at the Wednesday evening meetings. Some of the more recent are as follows:—

A lady related that her little daughter recently had what seemed a very curious and extensive hard callous growth upon one of her hands, covering a large part of the palm and extending part way around the hand. After a few Christian Science treatments, the callous loosened and came off.

The same little daughter, during the absence of her mother from home recently, sustained a slight fracture of a shoulder, from a fall. When the mother on her return took up the child, she cried out from pain. Treatment was begun at once, at the little one's request, and there was no more pain and a speedy and complete recovery ensued. A physician who had been called by the father (who is not a Scientist) before the mother's return, is the authority for the statement that the shoulder was fractured.
