Practise what you Preach
The only sure way to practise what you preach is to preach only what you practise. Fewer sermons, and a practical endeavor to make use of the little that is known is what the world needs.
The understanding of a single verse of Scripture, bearing fruits in healing and blessing, is far more praiseworthy and useful than a simply literal knowledge of whole chapters of the Holy Word. Those who can quote the Scripture and Science and Health fluently, or tell in flowery language what the Truth is, yet fail to demonstrate it, at least in part, are not following this rule of "practising."
Jesus taught his religion by demonstration, not by words. His actions were more powerful than his sermons in influencing the people to accept his Divine message. He healed the people and then told them to go and do likewise.
