I commenced using tobacco when nine years old, and used it until I came of age. Then I became disgusted with it, and made up my mind to quit. I laid it aside for a year at a time, but was never rid of the desire for it, and would finally go back to it again. This continued for five or six years until Christian Science came to my notice. My wife was healed of complaints which the M. D.'s could not cure. We took up Science and Health, and after studying it for a few months I was healed completely.

While I still had tobacco in my mouth I realized I had been healed, and told the men where I was working that I would never want any more tobacco because I had been healed by Science. This took place over six years ago, and I have never had the least desire to use it since.
