Recently, TMC Youth invited the local Boston community to a Radical Acts game night using the new Radical Acts/the Game deck of cards now available in Reading Rooms and the CSPS online shop. Below is an account from an attendee.

Seriously? A game?
I was a tad skeptical too ... until I played the game. A group of seven adults began playing together – some of us were acquainted with one other person in the group; others had just met for the first time. What ensued was an interesting and lively discussion on a wide range of topics from dealing with homelessness to bullying, to stress. The dialogues all fell under the umbrella of, how can our lives today really embrace the teachings of Jesus? And, how can we take the Sermon on the Mount and move it to Main Street?

What I like about Radical Acts/the Game is that it can be played with groups of up to ten players of any age. And it stimulates thought-provoking discussions that are rare today. How great to have a variety of generations and faith traditions exploring what it means to love your neighbor.
