It is with great gratitude that I give this testimony, and I desire that it may bless others. One of my first healings in Christian Science was that of severe earaches and abscessed ears, from which I had suffered since babyhood and about which the school doctor showed much concern. This condition, which would recur each winter, was healed entirely through the truth; and for the past several years there has been no evidence of it.

More recently severe congestion in my bronchial tubes made breathing or any movement very difficult. I could not lie down, and at times the attacks would be so severe that I seemed to be losing consciousness. The healing came very gradually, for many lessons had to be learned and much fear and discouragement overcome. Through the faithful work of a practitioner in a distant city the need was met. Very often the practitioner asked me to read the hymns in the Christian Science Hymnal. Gradually I was able to hum the tunes and then after a time to sing the words. Out of this experience grew a deep love for our Hymnal. Now I often turn to it for help. Today I am healthy, strong, and active. For these and many other blessings I am most grateful.

I wish to express deep gratitude for our lectures. They have been a source of inspiration to me since my introduction to Christian Science, and many times a healing has been realized as a result of a lecture. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, for the privilege of having been a guest at the Sanatorium of the Christian Science Benevolent Association, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and for the unfoldment of Truth that has come to me over the years.
