Making Christian Science Better Known

Dorset, England

In a statement quoted in The Christian Science Journal for April, 1895, our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, said: "Make broader your bounds for blessing the people." This inspiring message sets a standard on entering a new field of activity, and coupled with the promise in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper," encourages one to go forward with confidence. In spite of the steady progress of Christian Science there is still much to do. It is apparent that opposition to Christian Science arises mainly from ignorance of what it is, and what it stands for, and when this ignorance is dispelled the way is clearer for a better understanding and appreciation of its teaching.
