There is love in God’s molding and exalting of our desires.
Our desire, as beautiful and impactful as it may be,
is merely a draft, a rough sketch, of something He has always beheld.
Imagine the magnitude—the loving nuance, fragrance, and delicacy—
that God would add to our best thought.
Imagine the robust strength and clarity He would supply.
What heart-to-heart oneness He would add to our immortal cravings,
to our sweet desire that all things would endure.
If this is our thought, imagine His!
