How God knows me
Carol Dismore
I am pure, and I am clean,
and I am undefiled.
My Maker is the Lord Himself
and I’m His perfect child.
I am honest, innocent,
and lovely to behold.
I’m happy, loving, strong, and free,
and meek as well as bold.
The devil tells me, “No, you’re not.
It’s not as you’ve portrayed.
You may have started out that way,
but oh, the mess you’ve made!”
