Love’s call to peace

My friend,
awake to Love,
to thoughts above;
your mission is to heal.
No war of hate belongs to you.
You’re wiser, clearer; true
to that higher selfhood,
which Love demands.
Heed the call to stop the hate.
There is no lure of fate.
Peace needs no retribution.
Let humility in
to replace the din
of strife and sin.
Awake to Love’s call.
You have a role to play
to silence hate and win the day
of peace for all.
