A Christmas message
Clare Ham Grosgebauer
Here’s to real Christmas, its greeting so sweet,
Shared online through Facebook and tweet.
Here’s to the wonder, delight, and surprise
Glowing, reflected in young children’s eyes.
To harmony, peace, goodwill near and far,
To family, friends, wherever they are.
To our global community, from heaven above,
Hope to heal fears through God’s pure love.
Celebrating the season with spirit and mind
And grateful remembrance of the gift to mankind
Of the promise that joy and love will abound.
For all who believe—true Christmas is found.
