Sufficiency in Spirit

Have you ever felt limited in your ability to give or do something worthwhile? Or felt your means were just “not enough”? In short, paralyzed by limited resources. Maybe the desire to give is there but you think, “I would give, if only I had … .”

I’ve found that overcoming lack comes with taking each opportunity to grow spiritually and understand more about the divine laws, to which biblical prophets and many other spiritual seekers have turned for centuries.

When learning more about those laws myself, I puzzled over two sentences recorded in the Bible. The first one is, “Unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him” (Luke 19:26). And the second one is, “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Hebrews 13:2, English Standard Version).
