Pilgrims of God

ONWARD we go, pilgrims of God! The South giveth up, and the great Northland; The hordes of the East and the West unite; From the peaceful plains and the mountain slopes, The faithful hear and onward go.
HE stood alone, The Master of us all! And no one heard The wistful human call; His longing for One understanding heart Brought no response; And as he knelt apart, He turned to God, To find in Him alone His need supplied, The Christ supreme—God's own!

Our Leader

FIRM as Truth's own foundations Her faithful teaching stands.

Thy Heritage

Thou makest not thyself; there is no manSelf-made.

"Be still, and know"

Oh, troubled one,Thou art not askedTo labor and to toil,Or some great task perform; But just as Naaman,Thou must humble and obedient be,And quiet mortal thought—"be still,And know" that God alone rules all.

Silent Prayer

We bowed our heads,And in the silence sweetThere came a sense of gratitude,With joy and love replete.
And our "God shall wipe away all tears"From every eye; With His loving care calm all our fears,Lest death seem nigh.

The Child of God

His waking thoughts are of his God,To whom with unfeigned praise he turns,And heartfelt song of gratitudeFor all the good on him bestowed.

Praise

I am so thankful, Lord of love, to knowThat ceaselessly Thy living waters flow;E'en though another find the fountain first,Or with a readier cup allay his thirst,Still on I press, rejoicingly, and knowThat for each one those living water flow.
