Revelation

To-day I faltered; But Love placed beside my handA rose,That I might touch the petals,Breathe its fragrance,Rich with a message from His garden fair.

Launch Out!

Launch out into the deep,Fear not, nor doubt; His hand upholds thee,His love enfolds thee,Launch out!

Surrender

When thou canst say, and truly mean it,E'en though with bitter tearsAnd aching heart,"Thy will be done,"And look away from the materialInto the singing presence of thy God,Thou shalt find light and peace and plentyAnd rapture such as thou hast never dreamed,And the radiance of His unalterable beingWill illumine every simplest act of thine.

Gratitude

How wonderful, that God is here,That Life and Love are ever nearTo lift the mists of mortal sense,And bring to light Omnipotence!

Trust

I know not what the years may bringTo me of peace or pain;Nor when the young blades will appear,Whence comes the golden grain; But this I know: God's promisesForever shall remain.

Love, the Healer

Where soil is barren, cold, and poor,And nothing seems to grow,Here is the place for us to striveSome seeds of love to sow.

To a Friend

New lease of life?
"I am the resurrection, and the life;"Thus did our Master speak to one of old,Whose burdened sense reached out to him for help.
