   I’m unimpressed 
      with the carnal mind’s 
      constant refrain: 
“For joys, along the highways 
   and byways of material life, 
   remain.”

Rather, I’m persuaded …
I thought peacemaking meant 
Defusing conflict 
Mediating disagreements 
Smoothing ruffled feathers 
Restoring broken relationships ...
