Give a happy new year

Christ Jesus brought to the world a new spiritual concept of life. This newness of life is worth celebrating every day of the year.
Infinite—that's one way we think of God. But is God infinite enough to look after one person in the midst of a planet of 5,104,522,300 persons?
Are material advances the only way—or even the best way— to measure society's progress?

Peace and love are not words left over from the placards of an earlier decade. They are light for a dark world.
Here today, gone tomorrow? If that's what we believe about life, then we've not thought deeply enough about what it actually is.
The way of healing that Christ Jesus taught doesn't come with a lot of noise and fanfare but with gentle grace, compassion, and divine power.
