HAPPY VACATION!

Vacation time! What eager hopes and happy memories these words kindle—laughter and gladness, solitude and quietude, freedom and refreshment! In joyous anticipation one exclaims, "I'm going on a vacation soon!" A bit regretfully another says, "Mine is past!" And resignedly the pressed and harried businessman says, "I haven't had a vacation in years.
On the evening of the day that Christ Jesus demonstrated God's unfailing provision for man, humanly evidenced in the supply of food for the five thousand, he walked on the sea to join his disciples who were rowing toward Capernaum.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF "LET"

An important word in the vocabulary of Christian Science is the little word let.
In the ninth chapter of Isaiah.

"O THOU THAT HEAREST PRAYER"

All forms of sincere prayer have this common characteristic: they are an effort by men to communicate with God.
Some readers of these lines in countries other than the United States may not be aware that July 4, 1776, was a notable day for the American colonies.

When Daniel was prostrated with despair, the Bible tells us, an angel came to him bearing the message.

Treatment in Christian Science is a very sacred thing.

The Bud and the Blossom

The rightness of the bud preceding the blossom and of the blossom succeeding the bud is accepted by all of us.
Thus does a familiar hymn show the joy and importance of true witness bearing.
