Coming home

A journey begins; the distance appears daunting. How do we overcome the inertia that would hold us back? When the journey is one that leads to understanding God, knowing we're coming home makes all the difference.
We can't always see how things will change for the better; however, as we trust God's love for His children, we are often surprised by the outcome.

Christianity "let out of the box"

When our prayers truly begin with God, rather than a rehearsal of our problems, something remarkable happens.
Windows to opportunity sometimes seem tightly shut; yet, as we turn to God in prayer, we find that the light of divine Love dispels doubt and fear and moves us forward.
We may say, "I'm working on a problem" when, actually, the problem is working on us! If so, it's time for a breakthrough about the real nature of quiet, healing prayer—and to see its effects.

The inevitable morning light

Regardless of how long the night seems, it can't turn back a new day. There is, however, another inevitability and a different morning that are far more promising.

Each one of us has a profound spiritual capacity to think— carefully, deeply, and perceptively. As we realize this, we come to see that we're not helpless in the face of evil.

When we discover even a little of God's power and presence in our lives, we begin to conquer our fear of evil.

Working together

Could there be a situation so awful that there's no way to love in the midst of it? Actually, God's love makes unity and healing possible—where they seemed impossible before.
Personal appearance, age, and ancestry are ways of gauging identity, but there is a deeper spiritual dimension to man.
More and more we are realizing that all the world's children are our own. Inspired action is needed to help them—and we can each expect to see a widening role we can play.
