A Turning-Point

One finely says that the Gospels are only a page from the eternal diary of Christ.
If a tree is to be judged by its fruit, then Christian Science is entitled to a most worthy place as a means of alleviating the suffering of mankind, inasmuch as it has established its right to be so honored by healing thousands of cases of what is ordinarily termed incurable disease, in addition to its many other wonderful works.
One of the unanswerable arguments in favor of Christian Science lies in the fact that it is capable of proof, and is applicable as a practical religion.
We do not deny that healing the sick in Christian Science is a metaphysical process, for surely it is not a material practice.
Christian Science is the amplification and exemplification of the natural law which controls the universe and man.
While the canker of sin and the anguish of disease seem to afflict the human race so severely, there is ample room for every minister, physician, nurse, Christian Scientist, and lover of men to work, each with the light he has, in harmonious unity and loving kindness, for the elevation of mankind and their liberation from the hoary bondage of unholiness and ignorance.

When I was healed in Christian Science, the truth of it, the blessings that it brings, and the reformation it produces, appealed to me so strongly that I desired more than anything else to become a good Scientist and an earnest worker, and how to begin aright was the question that confronted me.
