In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

The first and deepest need is always to learn more about our spiritual identity —our sonship with the Father.

Midweek meetings: then and now

Our present-day healings play an important part in fulfilling Jesus' promise "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

Second Thought

From Saga magazine, September 1992

Practicing the "art" of honesty in all activities and seeing dishonesty as valueless have far-reaching effects: they are ways of contributing to the healing of evil in the business world as a whole.

We can claim for ourselves the best— that which represents something of enduring spiritual good —of any era, whether it be past, present, or future.

Anxiety and possible loss of a business are things many people face in the current economy.

Finding answers

We're not really confused and doubting mortals but God's spiritual offspring. We live and move in Him, in the one Mind.

Downhearted? We don't need to be!

Jesus promised that our joy can't be taken from us. This is divine law.

Where Jesus found refuge

The Psalmist said, referring to God, "Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance."

A song in the night

Whatever the time—midnight or daylight— God's love is always with us to bring us peace.

Just as a composer's finished symphony becomes a springboard of harmony and beauty for the musician who performs it, God's complete creation is an everlasting fountain of progress and healing for mankind.

Hold on!

If you are going down a narrow, steep staircase, what do you do?
