Carol Norton delivered a lecture on Christian Science in Carnegie Hall, New York City, December 19, 1898, which was attended by three thousand people and the event was ignored by the entire daily press of the city, with the exception of The Postscript, an afternoon paper published in Harlem.
The annual Communion service of the Mother Church was observed on Sunday, June 4, 1899.

Distinguished visitors have arrived in Boston the past week in the person of the Countess of Dunmore, with Lady Mildred Murray, her daughter, who have come over from England to attend the Christian Science session on the 4th of June.
