Grace overcomes self-will

Ever heard the phrase "nursing a grudge"? Wouldn't we do better to nurse, that is, to cultivate, spiritual affection?
The real test of our love is what happens if it is not returned in kind. Christly love doesn't wither or grow into hate; it searches the heart and fosters healing.

"Lovest thou me?"

The test of our Christianity is the quality of our love—not only for God and for Christ Jesus but for humanity.
What are we asking for when we pray for healing? We should expect nothing short of rebirth.
It's important to ask tough questions about God. And it's important to listen for His answers.
