Leaping words
A poet
doesn’t chase ideas,
but listens
for God.
When the poem
walks onto the page—
when it leaps from eternal Truth
to pen and paper—
then
the poet understands
that writing is
not simply
thinking thoughts
delving deep
watching words
but
catching those words
as they crystallize
in the ether of
infinite Mind
like snowflakes
or dewdrops
watering thought
and letting each poem
reveal present Truth.
