Ancient and Modern Necromancy, alias Mesmerism and Hypnotism, Denounced

There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Christ Jesus’ words to his disciples can be taken in two ways: as a caution that hidden wrongs will be exposed and as the promise that divine Truth will be revealed. Similarly, the Master taught a crowd, “Nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad” (8:17).

God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
